Expanded Opiates/Amphetamines

Expanded Opiates are:

• Oxycodone – Percodan, Percocet, Oxycontin
• Hydrocodone – Vicodin
• Hydromorphone – Dilaudid

Opiate addiction has been a huge problem in New Mexico as we have either led the nation or were near the top in the percentages of people dying.  Prescriptions for pain medication in New Mexico increased more than 250% for Oxycodone and more than 150% for Hydrocodone (Vicodin) from 1999 to 2009.  For much of the past decade New Mexico has been either #1 or #2 in the nation for overdose rates.

The expanded opiate panel can be added to any drug test or hair test.
